INGREDIENTS
For Marinating the Chicken
1. 500gm Chicken Thighs cut into bite size pieces
2. 1.5 TBSP Cornflour
3. 1 TBSP All Purpose Flour
3. 1 TSP Soy Sause
4. Salt to Taste
5. 1 TSP Sugar
6. 1/2 TSP Baking Soda (help makes the chicken soft)
7. 1 TSP Pepper Powder
8. Pinch of MSG*
9. 1 Whole Egg
Other Ingredients
1. 1 TSP Garlic Chopped
2. 1 TSP Ginger Chopped
3. 1 Medium Size Onion Chopped
4. 1 Medium Size Tomato pureed
5. 2 Green Chilies Slit
6. 1 TBSP Kashmiri Red Chili Powder (Adjust spiciness accordingly to taste)
7. 1/2 TSP Sugar
8. 1 Pinch of MSG
8. Salt to Taste
10. 2 sprigs Curry Leaves
11. Green Onions Chopped for Garnish
Preparation
1. Mix Chicken with the all ingredients for the marination and set aside for 2 hours
2. Deep-fry the chicken and set aside
3. Heat oil in a pan , add onion , fry for 30 sec
4. Add garlic and ginger, fry till raw smell goes away
5. Add curry leaves and fry for 15 sec
6. Add the tomato puree, salt sugar and MSG and saute on low flame till oil comes out.
7. Add the fried chicken and toss till it gets covered with the sauce.
8. Add sprinkles of water to prevent from sticking and toss
9. Switch off flame and garnish with Spring onions
